U P Meghani

We have been operating out of Patil Plaza on Parvatigaon Road for quite some years now. It is a busy spot and people are always coming and going. My father started this and now I spend most of my days sitting behind the wooden desk looking at ledgers. The office isn't much to look at, just some old shelves and a fan that squeaks when it gets too hot in the afternoon. We mostly handle local trade stuff. Parvati is a crowded area so there is always noise from the street outside. Sometimes I forget to tidy up the stacks of paper but we know where everything is. Clients just walk in, sit down on the plastic chairs, and we talk about what they need. There is no fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get things done. We know the neighbors well and the chai wala nearby knows our order by heart. Dealing with the daily traffic on the road is probably the hardest part of the job. We try to be here early before the rush starts. It is a simple life and a simple business. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. People around here know the U P Meghani name because we’ve been at this address for so long. It is just how we do things every day. We don't worry too much about being perfect, just about being here when someone needs us.
