Lic Insurance

We are over here in Pimple Gurav, right in the middle of things in Pune. Most days it’s just us and a lot of paperwork on the desk. This office for Lic Insurance isn't anything fancy to look at, but it gets the job done when people need their policies sorted out. Usually, someone walks in with a stack of old papers or a question about a payment they missed, and we sit down to figure it out together. It gets pretty noisy outside with the traffic, but inside we just focus on the folders and the computer. People from around the neighborhood know where we are. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or big signs because the work is what matters. Sometimes the printer acts up or the internet gets slow, which can be a real pain when you’re trying to finish up a claim before the day ends. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It's a lot of talking to people and explaining things in plain Marathi or Hindi so they know what’s going on with their money. Dealing with insurance can be a bit of a headache for most folks, so we try to make it less confusing. There’s no big secret to how we work; we just show up every morning, open the shutters, and start going through the files one by one until the evening. It’s a steady kind of life here in Pune and we like it.
