Amita Karandikar

My name is Amita Karandikar. You can find my office at 502 Bhawani Peth on Dhanori Road. We are up on the 5th floor of Building Number A/8, which is part of the Ajmera Complex. It’s a large complex and we’ve been here for quite some time. The view from the 5th floor is okay, mostly just other buildings and the busy street below us. Working in Bhawani Peth means there is always something happening outside. We aren't a big company with a lot of flash. Our office is just a regular room with some chairs and filing cabinets. We do our daily work here and try to keep things organized, though it gets a bit messy when we are very busy. The Ajmera Complex is a well-known spot, so most people don't have too much trouble finding us once they get into the gates. We don't use any corporate language or fancy talk. We just get up, come to the office, and do what needs to be done. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we have to wait a bit in the lobby. We know our neighbors in the building and we help each other out when we can. It’s a very grounded way to work. We just try to be honest and do our best for whoever needs our help. It has been our way for years now and we like it.
