We are based over in Deccan Gymkhana. It’s a well-known part of town, so most people know the general area without needing a map to find us. Our office is at 41307, and it’s a fairly busy spot to be in most days. Karvat Group is just a bunch of us working through paperwork, phone calls, and whatever else the day brings. It’s not one of those high-rise corporate glass buildings you see in the fancy parts of the city. It’s a practical space where we sit and get things sorted. The desks are usually covered in files, staplers, and half-empty coffee mugs. Deccan Gymkhana has a lot of energy, and we are right in the middle of all that movement. Sometimes it’s really hard to find a parking spot nearby if you arrive even ten minutes late. We’ve been operating from here for a while now. The routine is pretty much the same every single week. We open up, check what needs doing first, and try to stay on top of the pile. Since it’s a group of companies, there is always a variety of things happening at the same time. One person might be on the phone while another is filing reports or checking some numbers. We don’t really do those fancy meetings with projectors. We just talk across the room to each other. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s because we are actually busy doing the work.
