I am U G Thorat and my workspace is located over at the Pimpri Am Industrial Estate. Specifically, we are near the 12th Km Stone by the Pimpari Court area. It is a very industrial part of town, so there is always a lot of movement and noise around here. You see trucks and heavy machinery passing by all day long. I have been based in this spot for quite some time now. It’s not the quietest place to work, but it is where the action is. Most people find us because they are already in the estate for other reasons. The court is a good landmark if you are trying to find the exact stone marker. I usually get in before the sun gets too hot because the metal roofs in this area can make things warm by noon. There are a lot of other businesses around here doing all sorts of manufacturing and repair work. It is a community of people who just want to get their jobs done. I don't really have a big office or anything, just enough room to handle the daily tasks. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, but that is just part of being in an industrial zone. It’s a honest way to spend the day. I keep a spare fan running all through the summer months just to stay cool while I am filing my reports and checking the inventory lists. It gets loud when the neighbors are using their heavy drills.
