Our shop is located in the Konark Industrial Estate on Nagar Road, covering units 22, 23, and 24. Viman Nagar is a busy part of town, and being right on Nagar Road means we see a lot of activity throughout the day. We deal with power systems, so the units are mostly filled with heavy electrical equipment, batteries, and control panels. It is a lot of metal and wires everywhere you look. Having three units gives us enough space to keep things somewhat separated, but it still gets crowded when a big shipment arrives. The floor is usually covered in scuff marks from moving heavy crates around. We have been here for a good amount of time, watching the area around Viman Nagar develop with all the new malls and offices. Our work is pretty technical, involving a lot of testing and making sure the backup systems are ready to go. The staff usually has their heads down over a circuit board or is busy loading a truck for a delivery. It is not the kind of place you would come for a fancy meeting, but it works for what we do. We keep a pot of tea going in the back and there is always a bit of chatter about the latest jobs. We just focus on getting the power units built and out the door to wherever they are needed in the city.
