Param Sales

Our shop, Param Sales, is situated in Sadashiv Peth on Tilak Road, specifically at 404/2015 near the NK Image building. This area is always buzzing with students and people shopping, so there’s never a dull moment. We have a modest storefront that is packed with whatever we happen to be selling at the time. The shelves are high and we often have to use a small ladder to reach the items at the top. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are inside at once, but we make it work. We don't have a corporate strategy or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning and help the people who come in looking for something. We’ve got a small desk where we handle the cash and keep the ledgers. The fans overhead hum all day to keep the heat away. Sometimes we stand out on the pavement for a bit of fresh air when the shop is empty. We know a lot of the other shopkeepers on Tilak Road, so we spend time chatting with them during the slow hours. We don't do any big promotions. We just try to keep the right things in stock and stay friendly with everyone. It’s a basic retail life in a busy part of the city. We have been here for a good while and plan to stay as long as we can.
