Chinchwad Agencies

We are located at Chinchwad Survey No- 243 A/1-1A, right on the Mumbai Pune Road. Being on such a main road means it is always loud. Chinchwad Agencies is mostly about moving boxes and keeping track of what is coming in and going out. The storage area is packed high with stock. Sometimes it is hard to find a specific item if we haven't organized the shelves lately. The floor is concrete and a bit cracked in places from moving heavy pallets around. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists on the computer. It is not a quiet office job. There is always someone at the door or a delivery truck waiting to be unloaded. We have a small desk near the front where we handle the paperwork. The light is a bit dim in the back of the warehouse, so we use flashlights sometimes to see the labels. We have seen the road outside change a lot over the years. New buildings keep going up nearby. Most of our regular people know the way, but new folks sometimes miss the turn because of the traffic. We do not have a big sign, just the name above the door. It is a straightforward operation. We get the stock, we count it, and we send it off to whoever bought it. That is the whole routine from Monday to Saturday. Sunday is the only day the shutters stay down.
