Kothrud is always busy, especially around Paud Road where things never seem to stop moving. Our shop is just at number two, which is easy enough to find if you are looking for the sign. It is a small space, mostly filled with shelves of various parts and tools we use every single day. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the shop stays pretty much the same. People drop by with things they need looked at, sometimes just for a quick question about a battery or a wire they can't find. We spend a lot of our time at the back bench. It is not very organized, to be honest, but we know where everything is kept when we need it. The light isn't the best in the late afternoons, but we make do with what we have. Dealing with electronics means a lot of waiting for parts to arrive or testing things over and over until they work. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just a local spot for folks in the area. Often, we are just chatting with the neighbors while we work on a project. Paud Road can get really loud with the horns and the buses going by, but once you are inside the shop, it is mostly just the sound of the equipment humming. It is a decent way to spend the day, working with our hands.
