Tyre Point

Tyre Point is situated at 75/2 Wanowarie in N Pujari Nagar. Our shop is right on K A G Khan Road, not too far from the Shinde area. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the smell of rubber, which I guess is normal since we have tires stacked up almost to the ceiling. We have all kinds of tires for different cars, and the shop is usually a bit of a mess with tools and jacks lying around. Most of our work involves taking off old tires, fixing punctures, or fitting new sets for people who live around Wanowarie. My hands are usually stained with grease by the time I go home at night. We have a small machine for balancing the wheels and an air pump that makes a lot of noise throughout the day. The road outside can get very busy, so there is always a lot of honking and dust in the air. We don't have a fancy waiting area, just a couple of plastic stools if someone wants to sit while we finish their car. It’s hard, physical work, especially during the summer when the pavement gets really hot. We’ve been at this location for a while now and we know many of the drivers who pass through here regularly. It’s a straightforward shop where we just focus on getting the tires sorted so people can go about their day.
