Manappachiwadi is a small settlement in the Baramati district, and that’s where you will find our office. It’s a very rural area, surrounded by fields and open land. It involves a lot of record-keeping and staying in touch with people across the region. We don’t have any fancy software or high-tech gadgets. We rely on our books and our computers to keep everything straight. The local people know us well, and we often have someone dropping by for a quick chat or to ask a question. We don’t have a formal lobby or a waiting room; people just come into the main work area. Lunch is usually spent under the shade of a tree outside if the weather is nice. It’s a very hands-on kind of life, and we don’t mind the dust or the heat. We are just a group of people working hard in a quiet corner of Maharashtra. There are no big speeches or grand plans here, just the daily effort of making sure everything stays on track and the work gets finished.
