Tyre Junction

You can find Tyre Junction at the Ishanya Building, which is number 6 in the Kothrud area, right near Chandni Chowk. We are directly across from the Ladha Jain IT Park. It is a great spot because so many cars and bikes pass by every day on their way through the intersection. We have stacks of tyres everywhere, all different sizes for different vehicles. The smell of rubber is pretty strong when you first walk in, but you get used to it after five minutes. We spend a lot of our time outside on the pavement or in the bay changing wheels. It is physical work, especially when the big trucks come in. We have some machines to help with balancing and alignment, which we keep in the back. The traffic at Chandni Chowk can be a real mess sometimes, but it brings us a lot of people who notice their tyres are getting thin or have a puncture. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of plastic chairs where people sit and check their phones while we work. My hands are usually black from the tyres by the end of the day. We have been here for a few years now and most of the locals know they can just pull up if they have a problem. We keep it simple and just focus on getting the wheels back on the road safely. It is an honest day of work for us.
