Tulsi Mobile

Out here in Yerwada, on the stretch of Bannerghatta Road, you will find our little shop. It is called Tulsi Mobile. We have been in this spot for some time now, watching the buses go by all day long. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a standard storefront with a lot of posters for different mobile networks. Inside, we have a couple of glass displays filled with basic phones and all sorts of accessories. We do a lot of SIM card registrations and help people get their data plans sorted out. It can get a bit loud because of the road noise, but we are used to it by now. The back of the shop has a small table where we do the actual repairs, mostly replacing batteries or fixing speakers that have gone quiet. We don't use any fancy corporate talk because that isn't who we are. We are just local people helping other local people with their phone troubles. The morning starts with a quick cleaning of the glass and then we just wait for the first customer to walk in. Usually, it's someone looking for a cheap pair of earphones or a screen protector. We keep the shop open late because that's when most workers are heading home and realize they need something for their phones. It’s a steady kind of work and we like being part of the Yerwada community.
