The New India Assurance Company Limited

The New India Assurance Company Limited office is situated on Solapur Road, right in the Bhat G I D C Estate area. We are based in the Kanchanganga Apartments. It’s an industrial kind of place, so there’s always a lot of movement around us. Lorries and bikes are constantly going past on the main road. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it’s where we spend our whole day. We deal with a lot of paperwork and people coming in to talk about their insurance needs. Most of the time, the fans are humming and we’re just sorting through files or talking on the phone. It gets pretty busy during the middle of the week when everyone is trying to get things done before the weekend. We know the neighbors in the other apartments and the workers from the GIDC estate. It’s a practical location for what we do. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s just desks, computers, and a lot of folders. The light comes in through the windows facing the road, and you can hear the city sounds all day. We’ve been part of this Solapur Road stretch for a long time now. People know where to find us when they need to settle something or ask a question. We just focus on getting the work done and helping whoever walks through the door without making a big fuss about the process.
