The Mobile Stores

You can find us at number 1 on the Hennur Main Road in Kharadi. It’s a busy spot right by the main flow of traffic. The Mobile Stores has been sitting on this corner for quite some time now. We see a lot of commuters and locals popping in for things they forgot, like a spare charging cable or a pair of earphones. The shop isn't very large, so it can feel a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once. We have glass cases lining the walls with different mobile models and accessories. My brother and I usually handle the daily stuff ourselves. We spend a lot of time just organizing the stock and talking to the people who live in the apartments nearby. It gets hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front window, so we usually have the fan going full blast. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that; this is where everything happens. Sometimes we deal with used phones, helping people trade in what they have for something else. It's a steady way to make a living. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first opened, with more shops and cafes popping up all around us. We’ve stayed pretty much the same though. We just focus on keeping the shelves full and the customers happy enough to come back next time. We try to keep the prices fair and the talk simple.
