Thaat Baat

So we are Thaat Baat, over here in Kothrud. It’s inside the Ajay Industrial Estate, which is a bit of a busy place most days. You can hear the machines and the trucks moving around outside our doors pretty much all the time. Being in an industrial estate means things are quite practical and straightforward. We spend a lot of our time just managing the space and making sure everything is where it should be. The name Thaat Baat is what we go by, and it is what is written on the front. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the activity in the estate, but that is just how it is around here. We don’t really do anything fancy with the decor or anything like that. It’s a workplace first. People know where to find us in Kothrud if they are looking for the Ajay Industrial Estate area. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between the different sections of the building. I usually start the day by checking if any deliveries came in early. The guys in the next unit are usually already working by the time I get the keys out. It is not a quiet neighborhood, but it’s where we do what we do. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and you get used to the rhythm of the workers coming and going. It is just us doing our thing every day.
