Tejas Food Product

You can find us at Shop No. 931 in Bhawani Peth. We are right by the Palika Vithoba Chowk, which is a very busy part of the city. Being near Bhawani School means there are always kids and parents walking past the shop. It’s a noisy neighborhood, but it’s full of life. At Tejas Food Product, we make things the old-fashioned way. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be very organized with our pots and the ingredients we use. The smell of cooking fills the air around the chowk every morning. We don’t use a lot of big machines; it’s mostly manual work done by hand. We’ve been in Bhawani Peth for quite some time now, and the locals know our schedule. We start early to beat the heat, and by the time the school lets out, we are usually finishing up for the day. The walls inside have a few cracks and the paint is peeling a bit, but that doesn't stop us from working hard. We aren't interested in being a huge corporate brand. We just want to make food products that people in the neighborhood like to eat. It’s just me and a couple of helpers, and we handle everything from the cleaning to the final packing ourselves. It’s a basic, honest way to make a living in the middle of the city. We keep our heads down and just focus on getting the recipes right every single day for the community.
