Tej Watch Company

Tej Watch Company is situated on Mysore Road in Pimpri. It’s a very busy stretch of road, so there’s always a lot of movement outside. Our shop at 3Hb/718 is right in the middle of it all. We have been here for a while now, and the shop hasn't changed much over the years. We have the same glass counters and the same wooden shelves. We sell watches and we fix them too. It’s a straightforward business. We don't use any fancy computer systems for our inventory; we just know what we have in stock. The air is always a bit dusty because of the traffic, but we try to keep the watches clean and shiny. Pimpri is a working-class area, and our customers are mostly people who work nearby. They want something that works and doesn't cost a fortune. We don't do big promotions or sales events. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to come in. It’s a small space, so if three people come in at once, it feels full. We like the bustle of Mysore Road, though. It keeps things interesting. We aren't some big brand, just a local watch shop where you can get a battery changed or a strap replaced without any trouble. That’s who we are and what we do every day. We just take one watch at a time and try to get it back to the customer quickly.
