Technogem Enterprises is situated at D-4 in the Vishnu-Malati Industrial Estate, right on NDA Road in Shivane. It’s a busy stretch of road, especially during the morning rush. Our unit, number 77/3, isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit all the necessary equipment inside. It’s an engineering setup, so you’ll see a lot of metal scraps and oil stains on the floor. That’s just the nature of the work we do here. I’ve been coming to this same spot for years, and not much has changed in the neighborhood, except for maybe a few new shops down the street. We handle various technical jobs and fabrication work. It’s mostly about precision and making sure the measurements are right on the first try so we don’t waste material. The lighting inside could be better, but we have lamps over the workbenches where it matters. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures. Most of our work comes from people who know where we are and what we can do with a lathe or a welding machine. It’s a dusty place, and your clothes will definitely get dirty if you stay too long. We take a lunch break at the same time every day, and usually, the workshop goes quiet for thirty minutes before the clanging starts up again. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. There is always a new challenge with every piece of metal we get.
