Technika

We've been running Technika out of this spot at 783/2, Juna Tophkhana for a while now. If you know where Mangala Theatre is in Shivaji Nagar, we are just right behind that. It's a busy area but we like it here. People often miss the turn, but once you find us, it's pretty straightforward. We do various technical jobs and repairs, mostly just dealing with whatever comes through the door. It's not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a workspace where we get things done. Some days it's quiet and other days we are tripping over parts and tools. My cousin helped me set up the back room last year because we needed more space for the benches. We usually start early in the morning before the traffic gets too bad around the theatre. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat or ask for a tool. We keep things simple. No big reception area or coffee machines, just a place to work on projects. It gets a bit dusty with all the stuff moving in and out, but that's just how it is. We've seen a lot of changes in Shivaji Nagar over the years, new buildings going up and old ones coming down. We stay focused on the work at hand. If you're looking for us, just look for the sign near the alleyway. We'll probably be inside working on something. It's nothing special, just our shop where we handle the daily grind.
