Tathe Hospital & Nursing Home

This hospital is situated at Survey No. 721 along the Pune Nagar Road in Wagholi. It is a busy stretch of road and we are close to the P D C C Bank and Vikram Dairy. You can often smell the milk from the dairy if the wind is blowing the right way. The building has several floors and we have rooms for people who need to stay over for a while. It is a nursing home too so there is always someone around even in the middle of the night. The hallways are long and have that specific hospital smell of cleaning supplies. We have various wards and a few private rooms tucked away. The furniture is practical and built to last. People come in from all over the Wagholi area and sometimes from further down the highway. Our day usually involves a lot of walking back and forth between the beds and the main station. The noise from the traffic on the Pune Nagar Road is constant but we have gotten used to it over the years. We keep our records in big binders and there is always a stack of paperwork waiting to be filed. It is a functional place that stays busy from dawn until dusk and then through the night. The staff rooms are small and usually have a kettle for making tea during the breaks. We just keep things running as best as we can.
