Poona Hospital

Poona Hospital has been sitting over at Plot No 2 in Yerawada for a lot of years. If you live in this part of Pune, you have probably driven past us many times. We are not one of those massive new medical centers with glass walls and fancy cafes. It is a more traditional hospital setup where the doctors and the nurses actually know the regulars who come in. Things can get pretty hectic in the mornings when everyone shows up for their appointments at the same time. The waiting room gets full and the ceiling fans are usually humming away. We try to keep everything moving, but medicine takes the time it takes. The staff here has been around for quite a while, so we have seen many families grow up and change over the years. Yerawada is a busy area, and being right here means we get a lot of walk-ins from the nearby neighborhood. We do not have a marketing department or anything like that. People just come here because they know where we are and they trust the people working the long shifts. It is a practical place. We focus on getting folks treated and back on their feet. Sometimes the paint is a bit chipped and the chairs are not the newest models, but the care is what really matters. We keep our records in order and make sure the place stays clean for everyone. It is just a community hospital. We all live nearby, so we are neighbors.
