We are based over at the 6th Cross in Khadakwasla. ACE Hygiene Product Pvt Ltd is the name on the door, but it’s a pretty simple operation inside. It’s a quiet spot most days until the delivery vans show up to load the crates. We make and sell cleaning stuff. Things like soaps, liquids, and all those items people need for their houses or shops. It smells like bleach or lemon most of the time in here. Not everyone likes the strong scent, but you get used to it after ten minutes. We aren't some huge brand with fancy ads and TV commercials. It’s just us. We have a few machines and some local people who have been working with us for years. The floors are usually a bit wet because we're always testing things or cleaning up a spill. It’s a messy business trying to make things that stay clean. We started this because the stuff in the big stores felt too expensive for regular people. Sometimes we run out of plastic bottles and have to wait for the shipment from the city. That’s just how it goes when you’re running a small place. The 6th Cross is a bit narrow, so parking is a pain if you have a big car. We just tell everyone to pull up on the side. We're usually here early and leave whenever the work is done. It's a decent living.
