This branch is located in Shivaji Nagar on the 3rd Cross, right off the 8th Main Road in the 1st Block. It’s a busy area and finding a parking spot for a scooter can be a real challenge some days. The office itself is what you would expect from a telecommunications place. There are lots of computer monitors, servers humming in the background, and cables tucked into plastic trunking along the walls. We spend our time monitoring connections and making sure everything is running as it should. It’s a lot of technical work that requires a bit of patience. The air conditioning is always on, which is a relief from the heat outside, but it can get a bit chilly if you sit under the vent for too long. We have a small break area where we keep a kettle and some biscuits. It’s not a very decorative place. Most of the walls are covered with technical charts or old calendars. The staff here is a mix of people who have been with the company for years and some newer faces. We all just try to stay on top of the tickets and keep the network stable. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one hour at a time. The local tea vendor knows our usual orders by heart now, which makes the long shifts a little easier to handle.
