It makes the day go by faster having that life outside the window. We have a small pantry where we make our own tea, and that’s where most of the casual talk happens between the staff. We don't have a big HR department or a fancy canteen. Most of us just bring lunch from home or grab a quick bite from the street vendors nearby. The work is steady and keeps us occupied from morning until evening. We’ve grown used to the quirks of the building, like the slightly squeaky front door and the way the light hits the desks. It’s an unpretentious place to work. We just focus on our tasks.
