Ibm (India) Pvt Ltd has an office here at Yerwada Peenya 1. I know the name sounds big and corporate, but for those of us working here every day, it feels more like a local job. We’re just a team of people who show up, sit at our desks, and get through our tasks. The building is pretty standard for this part of Yerwada, and it’s where we handle all sorts of technical and backend work. It’s not like we’re doing something different every day; there’s a lot of routine to it. We have our desks, our computers, and our coffee breaks. Most of us have been working together for a while, so we know how to help each other out when things get busy. It’s not always exciting, and sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, but we manage. We don't really talk in marketing terms when we’re just chatting in the breakroom. We talk about the traffic on the way in or what we’re doing over the weekend. We have plenty of deadlines that keep us on our toes, and sometimes we have to stay a bit later than we’d like to finish a report or fix a system issue. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to do a decent job. We don't have any grand statements to make. We just work here and try to keep everything running as it should.
