Tata Bluescope Steel

We are up on the 4th floor of The Metropolitan, right there at Survey No. 21 in Wakdewadi. If you’ve ever been through Shivaji Nagar, you know the area is always moving and the roads stay pretty packed. Our office isn't anything too special, just a practical place where we get the work done. We spend the day dealing with steel, mostly coordinating between the plants and the people who need the material for their buildings. There’s always a lot of chatter about gauges and lengths. The elevators can be a bit of a wait during the lunch hour when everyone from the other floors heads out, so we usually just bring our own tiffin or grab something quick from the vendors downstairs. The view from the windows is mostly just the tops of other buildings and the main road. It gets dusty, that’s just how it is here. We don't spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on the orders. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to actually get through the filing. It’s a regular job in a regular part of town. We’ve been at this address for a while and the locals know us. We just try to keep things organized so the steel gets where it's going without too much trouble. It’s practical work. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the steel business keeps moving along like it's supposed to.
