This branch is tucked away in the Sulashree Co. Op. Society, right over in Kothrud. If you know the area, we are pretty close to the Chaitanya Health Club. It’s a nice part of Pune, mostly residential but with enough going on to keep us on our toes. We’ve been at B/9 for a while. Our day starts early, usually with a lot of phone calls about steel supplies and delivery schedules. It’s not a polished corporate office by any means. We have papers everywhere and samples of metal sheets leaning against the walls. We don’t really do the whole fancy marketing thing. We just focus on getting the steel out to the sites where it’s needed. Pune-411038 is a busy zip code, and we feel like we are right in the middle of it. The staff here is local, so we know the shortcuts to avoid the Kothrud traffic when we can. Sometimes we are out on-site, and other times we are just here at the desk trying to make sense of the latest project drawings. It's a bit of a juggle, but that's how it goes in this trade. We like the Sulashree neighborhood because it feels like a real community. You won't find any scripted greetings here. We just talk like normal people and try to help out with whatever steel requirements come our way. It's steady work and we enjoy being part of the local scene.
