Tata Bluescope Steel Limited

Being on the 4th floor of The Metropolitan has its ups and downs. The elevator is usually working, which is a relief because walking up four flights of stairs in this heat isn't great. We are Tata Bluescope Steel Limited, and we occupy a decent chunk of space here at Final Plot 27. From the window, you can see a bit of Survey 21, though mostly it’s just more construction and other buildings. The office stays pretty cool because of the air conditioning, but it can feel a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time. We have a lot of steel samples and binders full of technical specs sitting on the shelves. It’s not the most exciting decor, just functional. Most of our day is spent looking at charts or talking to contractors about their requirements. It gets busy around mid-month when deadlines start hitting. We don't really have a lobby, just a front desk where one of us usually sits. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost finding the Metropolitan because the street signs aren't great around here. We’ve had to give directions over the phone quite a bit. It’s a professional enough spot, but we definitely have our share of cluttered desks and half-empty coffee mugs laying around. It’s just how we work. We don't put on a show for anyone, we just focus on the steel.
