Tata Blue Scope Steel Ltd

Tata Blue Scope Steel is set up at The Metropolitan on the 4th floor. We’re at Final Plot 27, Survey No 21 in Wakdewadi, Shivaji Nagar. The area is always crowded with traffic and people moving about. Being on the 4th floor gives us a little bit of distance from the street noise, but you can still hear the city hum. We work with steel, so there’s a lot of talk about construction and building materials around the office. We have blueprints spread out on tables and samples of coated steel here and there. It’s not a quiet library; it’s a place where people are constantly discussing project specs and delivery dates. Shivaji Nagar is a central part of Pune, so it’s easy for our partners to drop by, though finding a parking spot is always a headache for everyone. We have a small pantry where we all gather for a break when we can. Most of the team is pretty down-to-earth. We don’t use a lot of fancy words for what we do. It’s about getting the steel to the right place at the right time. The office has been here for a while and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We just keep our heads down and focus on the orders we have for the week. It’s steady work and it keeps us on our toes.
