Tasty Tongues Chaats

Tasty Tongues Chaats is just a small spot we have here at Bavdhan Antop Hill 2/2/A. It’s mostly just us getting the chutneys ready every single morning before the sun gets too high. We spend a lot of time chopping onions and boiling potatoes because that is what chaat is all about. Sometimes the place gets quite crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming back from work and wants a quick snack. We have been here for a while now and most people in the neighborhood know where to find us. It’s not a fancy place with big tables, just a corner where you can stand and eat. We try to keep things clean and simple. Sometimes we run out of something before the night ends, but that’s just how it goes when things are made fresh. My brother helps me with the serving while I handle the prep work in the back. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. Most of our regulars just saw the sign and stopped by one day. It’s nice seeing the same faces every week. We just focus on getting the spice levels right for whoever is asking. The location at Antop Hill is easy to spot once you are in the area. We are just happy to be part of the local food scene here in Bavdhan.
