Tanushree Chinese Fast Food Center

Our place is in Lohegaon, on 41st Main, right by the 4th Cross. It’s a small Chinese fast food center. We don't have a big dining room, just a few plastic tables and chairs on the side. The main thing is the big burner where we cook everything. You can hear the sound of the metal spatula hitting the wok all evening. Lohegaon is growing fast, so there are always new people moving in and trying our food. We usually open up in the late afternoon when it starts to get a bit cooler. The kitchen gets incredibly hot, and we are usually covered in sweat by the time we close. We make the usual stuff like noodles and fried rice. We don't have any fancy chefs, just a couple of guys who have learned how to cook over the years. Sometimes the sauce is a bit spicier than usual, but nobody seems to mind. We use a lot of onions and garlic, so you can smell our place from down the street. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a computer for bills, just a small notebook where we write everything down. It gets busy after eight when people are coming home from work. We just keep cooking until the gas runs out or the customers stop coming. It's a lot of work for just two people. We like it though.
