Tanna Enterprises

Tanna Enterprises is found at Bhawani Peth, specifically near Palki Chowk 62/63. This area is quite traditional and we’ve been part of the landscape here for a good long time. Our shop is where we handle various hardware and supplies. It’s not the cleanest place because of all the heavy items we move around. There is always a bit of dust and the smell of metal or oil. We have shelves that go all the way up, and we use an old wooden ladder to reach the top ones. That ladder creaks every time someone climbs it. We spend most of our day talking to contractors or people doing up their own houses. Palki Chowk is a landmark that everyone knows, so it makes finding us a bit easier. The traffic in Bhawani Peth can be a nightmare in the evenings. We usually have the radio playing some old songs in the background while we work. We don't have any shiny brochures or a sales team. It’s just us behind the counter. We write out receipts by hand in a carbon copy book. Sometimes we run out of tea and have to send someone down the street to get some. The shop door sticks a bit when it's raining, you have to give it a good shove. We just keep doing what we do every day without much fuss, serving the people who come in.
