Tanmay Pan Shop

Tanmay Pan Shop is situated in a bit of a strange spot, listed with an address in Wagholi Fernandes Village on Veera Desai Road in Andheri West. It’s a small place where we spend our evenings serving the local crowd. We don’t have a big store, just a little counter where we keep all our supplies. Most of our work is done by hand, preparing the leaves and mixing the different spices. The street outside can get really loud with all the traffic and people walking by. We don’t do any advertising; we just rely on people seeing us when they walk past the corner. It’s a simple way to spend the day, talking to whoever stops by for a minute. Some people are in a big hurry, while others like to stay and chat for a bit about whatever is happening in the village or on Veera Desai Road. I usually have to refill the water bucket a few times a day to keep everything fresh. We don’t have any fancy equipment, just our hands and the ingredients we buy every week. It gets a bit crowded around sunset when everyone is out and about. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s not a big corporate business, just a local shop trying to stay open every day. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just show up and serve the people.
