Tanishaka Mobile Shoppe is situated right on Baner Bazaar Street Down. If you walk down the slope, you will find us there among the other small shops. It is a busy little street and there is always someone shouting or a horn honking nearby. I spend most of my day standing behind the glass counter looking at screens. My eyes get a bit tired from looking at the small parts and the bright lights inside the shop. We have shelves lined with colorful plastic covers and tangled charging cables that I have to straighten out every morning. The floor is tiled and I try to keep it clean, but people bring in a lot of mud from the bazaar when it rains. I have a small chair but I rarely sit because someone is always coming in asking about a recharge or a broken glass. The shop isn't very wide, so when three or four people are inside, it feels quite cramped. I keep a small fan near the ceiling to move the air around, otherwise, it gets quite stuffy. In the afternoons, I usually have my lunch from a steel tiffin box while sitting near the back where the spare batteries are kept. It is a lot of standing and talking to people who are usually in a rush to get their phones fixed or to find a specific plug. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait with the door open for light.
