You can find us on M G Road in Laxmi Nagar, right on that busy stretch of the Ghatkopar-Andheri Link Road. It’s a small shop, but it stays very busy because of all the traffic passing by. Most of my day is spent under a magnifying lamp, trying to fix tiny circuits or replacing cracked screens. People are always in a hurry and want their phones back in an hour. I do what I can, but some jobs take time. We sell some basic phones and plenty of accessories like chargers and cases that we hang on the walls. The noise from the Link Road is constant—horns, engines, and people shouting—but you stop hearing it after a while. I have a small counter where I talk to customers and explain why their battery isn't holding a charge anymore. It gets a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once. My tools are scattered across the workbench, but I know where everything is. Sometimes the parts we order take a few days to arrive, which makes the customers impatient. I just try to be honest about what can be fixed and what is a waste of money. The air conditioner is a bit old and leaks sometimes, but it’s better than sitting in the heat. It’s a fast-paced environment here in Ghatkopar, and we just try to keep up with the new models coming out.
