Taiba Steels

Taiba Steels is situated at P No 1/2 in Kailash Wahan, right on the Bhosari Road. We are close to the main Pune Mumbai Road in Akurdi, so there is always a lot of heavy traffic passing by our gate. Working with steel is a loud and heavy business. You will always hear the sound of metal clanging and trucks moving in and out of our yard. We have been here for a good number of years now. It is a practical place where we keep our stock and handle orders for local builders and small factories. We don't have a polished front office or any air conditioning out in the yard. It is just raw work. My brothers and I handle most of the daily tasks ourselves. We grew up around the steel industry, so we know the difference between various grades and types of metal without thinking twice. The Akurdi area has changed a lot, but we have stayed pretty much the same. We don't use any fancy marketing language to get customers. People come to us because they know we have what they need and we don't play games with the prices. It is a lot of physical labor, and by the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired. But it is good to see the steel being loaded up for new buildings around Pune. We just keep our heads down and work.
