Tablet World is located at Sadashiv Peth 1164. The shop is mostly filled with boxes of electronics. We have a few tablets on display so people can see the size of the screens and how they feel. The space at 1164 isn't huge, so we have to be careful how we stack things so nothing falls over. Sadashiv Peth is a crowded area and the lanes are narrow. I spend my time answering questions about battery life and storage space. Most of the time, I’m just cleaning fingerprints off the glass displays. It’s a bit of a repetitive job. The floor is linoleum and it’s starting to peel at the edges. We have a small desk where we do the paperwork. It’s always covered in receipts and charging cables. Sometimes the internet goes down and we can't show people how the devices work. We just wait for it to come back on. The shop has a large window in the front, but the sun doesn't hit it directly because of the tall buildings nearby. It stays a bit dim inside throughout the day. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a small shop selling gadgets. We try to keep the most common models in stock. People come in to compare prices or just to see what's new. It’s a steady pace of work. I usually have tea around four in the afternoon.
