Swig

Swig is our spot over in Koregaon Park, specifically on Rander Road 28/2. It’s a lively neighborhood and there’s always something happening outside. We have music playing throughout the day to keep the vibe going. The place has a bit of a worn-in look with wooden tables and some old posters on the walls. We spend a lot of our time behind the bar or clearing away glasses. It gets pretty dark inside which people seem to like, especially in the evenings. We have some chairs out on the sidewalk too. People like to sit there and watch the people go by on Rander Road. It’s not a big team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from serving drinks to sweeping the floor at night. The weekends are usually a bit of a scramble because it gets so crowded. You can hardly hear yourself think sometimes with the music and the talking. We just try to keep the orders moving. It’s a casual place where you can just be yourself. We don't have a dress code or anything formal. Sometimes we get travelers who found us on a map and they stay for hours. We just provide the space and the drinks. It’s a lot of work but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of Koregaon Park over the years.
