Sweekar Snacks Bar

Sweekar Snacks Bar is a small place we have on Carter Road 3 in Kothrud. It’s not a very big space, so it gets tight when more than a few people come in at once. We have a simple counter and a few spots where you can stand and eat. Most of our customers are locals who live in the nearby buildings or students who are looking for something cheap and quick. We don't have a massive menu with hundreds of items. We just stick to the snacks we know how to make well. Every morning we get the supplies delivered and start the prep work. It’s a lot of cutting vegetables and making sure the stove is ready for the day. My family helps out quite a bit. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy decorations or soft music. It’s just a snack bar. We deal with a lot of different people every day and most of them are in a hurry. We try to get the food out as fast as possible so they can get back to their work or classes. Kothrud is a very busy area and there’s always something happening outside. We just stay focused on our small corner of the street. It’s a simple life and a simple business, and that’s just how we like to keep it. We are always there from morning to night.
