Swaraj Provision Store

Swaraj Provision Store is located on Lane No 7 in Pingale Nagar, Alandi. It’s a bit tucked away from the main noise of the bigger roads, which makes it a nice, quiet place to work. Most of the people who shop with us live right here in the same lane or just around the corner. We make sure to keep our shelves stocked with all the essentials like wheat, rice, different kinds of dal, and the usual soaps and detergents for the house. The wooden shelves are a bit old and some of them have a slight lean, but they do the job just fine. I spend my early mornings organizing the milk crates and making sure we have fresh bread ready for the breakfast rush. Our shop isn't very big, so we don't have space for fancy displays; we just stack things neatly where they can fit. Sometimes it takes a moment to find a specific brand of spices, but we always manage. It’s a very simple operation. My daughter helps out with making price lists when she has time. We have seen Pingale Nagar grow a lot over the years with new buildings and new people moving in, but the way we run our store hasn't changed much. We aren't trying to compete with big stores. We just want to be here when a neighbor needs some ghee or a bag of sugar. It’s a good life being part of this local lane.
