Swadisht Food

Swadisht Food is located at number 15 on Laxmi Road in Pimpri. It's a crowded street, so we are right in the middle of all that action. We started this place because we liked cooking, and it just grew from there. The kitchen isn't very big, but we manage to get everything done. We use the same recipes we’ve had for a long time. There’s no head chef with a tall hat here, just us in our aprons. The tables are wooden and a bit worn down from all the use. We see a lot of office workers during the day who want a quick meal. Pimpri is a loud place, and Laxmi Road is no exception. You can hear the horns honking while you eat. We don't have a website or anything like that. If you want to know what's cooking, you just have to walk in and look at the board. Sometimes we change a dish if the ingredients aren't looking good at the market that morning. We just want to serve food that tastes like home. It’s a lot of washing dishes and prep work behind the scenes. We stay open late most nights until the street quietens down. Being at Pimpri Laxmi Road 15 feels right for us. We've known the neighbors for years now. It gets sweaty in the kitchen during the dinner rush, but we don't mind the hard work.
