Super Value Store

Bibwewadi is a busy residential area, and being right in the middle of it at Super Value Store keeps us on our toes. The shelves here are always being rearranged because something is always running out. We don’t have a massive team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. From the morning when the milk arrives to the late evening when people stop by on their way home from work, it’s constant. Sometimes the aisles get a bit cramped when the new stock comes in and we haven't had time to put it all away yet. We try to keep things clean, but with so many boots walking through, the floor usually needs a sweep every hour or so. We recognize most of the faces that walk through the door. It’s nice knowing the neighbors and what they usually buy. If someone is looking for a specific brand of soap or a certain type of dal, we usually have it somewhere in the back if it's not on the shelf. The billing counter is where most of the talking happens. We hear about the local news, the weather, or just how someone’s day is going. It’s a simple life running a shop in Bibwewadi. We don't have fancy lights or background music, just the sound of the fridge humming and people chatting. It's a lot of standing and moving boxes.
