Storekeeper

I’m over here at Dalvi Heights in Mundwa, specifically in flat twelve on the second floor. It’s right near the Ganpati Temple, so it’s usually pretty busy around here with people coming and going. My name is Kaushalendra and I handle all the storekeeping duties for our operation. It’s a lot of work honestly. Most days I’m just counting boxes and making sure everything that comes in is actually what we ordered. It’s not fancy. The office is tucked away in the building and sometimes the stairs get a bit much when I am carrying heavy stuff up. Mundwa has changed a lot lately with all the new construction, but we just stay focused on the inventory in front of us. Sometimes the paperwork gets messy because things happen fast during the morning rush. I try to keep it organized but you know how it is. People come in and out all day asking for supplies. Pune gets really hot in the afternoons, so the store can feel a bit stuffy. I usually keep a fan going near my desk. It’s just me and a couple of others trying to keep things from getting lost or damaged. If something is missing, it is usually my head on the block. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. It’s a practical setup. Nothing to brag about, just a place where we get the job done. I spend hours checking lists against the physical stock. That is basically my whole day.
