Suneesh Shankar

Suneesh Shankar is located over at Girinagar, right by the Panshet Road in Pune. We are tucked away near the Venkateshwara Hatcheries, so there is always a bit of activity around here related to that. The air is a bit fresher on this side of town compared to the city center. It’s a long drive out for some, but for us, it’s just where we work every day. The office is really just a place to sit down and handle the logistics. My colleague Sudheesh is usually around too. We share the space and keep things organized as best as we can. The road outside leads toward the dams, so on weekends, you see a lot of people heading out for trips, but during the week, it’s mostly just us and the local workers. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Usually, someone is on the phone or checking the latest lists. It gets quiet in the afternoons when the sun is high. We have a small desk setup and plenty of pens that always seem to go missing. Working near the I.A.T. area means we see a lot of different people passing through. It’s not a complicated operation. We just show up, do what needs to be done for the day, and head home when the sun starts to set over the hills. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, with more buildings popping up. It’s a decent place to be, all things considered.
