Sumedh Electricals

Sumedh Electricals is tucked away in Borivali West at Junnar S.V Road, specifically in Rambaug lane C/2. It’s a narrow lane, so finding parking can be a bit of a nightmare for our customers. Inside, the walls are covered from floor to ceiling with boxes of switches, wires, and light fixtures. It’s a bit of a maze, but we usually know exactly where everything is hidden. We get a lot of local folks coming in because they have a fan that stopped working or they need a specific type of bulb they can’t find anywhere else. We spend a lot of time standing behind the counter, chatting with the neighbors and helping them pick out the right gauge of wire. It’s not a corporate environment at all; it’s more like a community spot where people stop by even if they don’t need to buy anything. Sometimes we have to go out to help a customer with an installation, so we might shut the shop for an hour with a note on the door. The building is an older one, and the Rambaug lane area has a lot of character. We’ve got a small fridge in the back for cold water, which is a life-saver during the summer months. It’s a simple, honest shop where we try to keep enough stock so nobody leaves empty-handed. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the furniture.
