Sudam Telecom is right at Jadeshwar Chokadi 1 in Hadapsar. It’s a prominent corner, so we see a lot of people passing through on their way to work or the market. We mostly deal with mobile recharges, SIM cards, and small repairs. The shop is small, so it can get a bit cramped when more than three people are inside. We have a glass counter where we keep the phones and accessories. It’s nothing fancy, just a place to do business. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighborhood knows us. Some people just stop by to ask for directions or to check their balance. We don't mind. It’s part of being a local shop. Sometimes the internet connection acts up, and we have to tell people to come back in ten minutes for their recharge. It’s just one of those things. We don’t have a big team, usually just one or two of us behind the counter. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a phone is too old to fix, we tell the customer it's better to get a new one. There’s no point in taking money for something that won't last. The traffic at the chokadi can be quite loud, but we don't really notice it anymore. We just focus on the person standing in front of us. It’s a regular job in a regular part of town, and we like it that way.
