Sub Way

Sub Way is located at Hinjawadi 7, which is a place that never really seems to slow down. We are right in the thick of things with all the offices and people rushing around. Most of our day is spent behind the counter, getting everything ready for the lunch crowd. We have to chop a lot of vegetables and make sure everything is fresh. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we are used to it by now. Hinjawadi 7 is a busy spot, especially around noon when everyone comes out of their buildings at the same time. We see a lot of people who are stressed or in a big hurry. We just try to get them what they need so they can get back to work. We don't have any fancy seating, just a few spots for people to sit if they aren't taking their food to go. The floor gets dirty pretty fast with all the foot traffic, so we are always mopping. We aren't a big corporate team; we are just local folks working here. We’ve learned to work fast because that’s what this area demands. When the rush is over, we finally get a chance to sit down for a minute before we have to start cleaning up for the next day. It’s a busy life at Hinjawadi 7, but we are glad to be part of the daily routine for so many people.
