Sten-Fab Industries

We are located at 61/6/4 Shantinagar, right in the Landewadi area of Bhosari. If you know Bhosari, you know it’s packed with small industries like ours. Sten-Fab Industries has been squeezed into this spot for a while now. It’s a tight fit sometimes when we have a lot of sheet metal coming in. We do fabrication, which basically means we spend our days cutting, bending, and joining metal. It’s loud and it’s messy. My clothes always have little holes in them from sparks. That’s just part of the trade. We have a small crew, mostly locals who live nearby. We start early before the sun gets too hot. The morning air in Shantinagar is usually the only quiet time we get. Once the power tools start, that’s it for the day. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably find me under a machine or talking to one of the guys about a measurement. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just take the metal and make it into whatever the order says. It might be a cabinet or a bracket. Whatever it is, we do it right there on the floor. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on. We like being part of the Landewadi community, even if it gets a bit crowded on the street sometimes.
