Star Mobile

Star Mobile is located in the Nimesh Industrial Estate in Sadashiv Peth. Specifically, you can find us on Vidyalaya Marg at 7/1213. Sadashiv Peth is an old and traditional part of the city, but this industrial estate adds a different feel to the street. We mainly do mobile phone repairs and sell basic accessories like chargers and wires. The shop is a bit cluttered with old boxes and spare parts that we keep just in case someone brings in an ancient phone model. Our counter is covered in scratches from years of sliding phones and tools across it. We have a small window that does not let in much light, so we rely on those bright overhead tubes. It gets a bit stuffy in the summer months when the sun hits the wall. Most of the people who come in are regulars from the surrounding offices and small factories nearby. They usually need a screen replaced or a new charging port because the old one got full of pocket lint. We do not have a big marketing budget or anything like that; we just rely on local people knowing we are here. The Vidyalaya Marg can get quite busy during the school hours, so the noise filters into the shop all afternoon. We spend most of the day hunched over our desks with tweezers and magnifying glasses. It is a slow and steady kind of work.
